Sweet Pineapple!

I can’t get enough of the Tutti Frutti Suite……the papers, stamps and matching punches are just soooooo cute!
Here is a pineapple themed card that I made using pretty much the entire Suite of products on page 28 amd 29 of the Occasions Catalogue.
Did you know……Pineapples were considered a sign of prestige and affluence, generosity and wealth and have been used in art, home decor and architecture for centuries? They are also a symbol of hospitality and goodwill. You can read about the symbolism of the Pineapple HERE.
Back to my card…..here is a close-up of the detail…..

As you can see some of my stamped Pineapples are punched out and popped up with Mini Dimensionals and others are stamped directly on the cardstock to give a more 3D effect.
HINT : The punches in the bundle actually cut INSIDE the image outline, so it’s important to stamp the pineapple leaves as close to the base as possible before punching out!
The coordinating Tutti Frutti Washi Tape if both decorative and functional…..holding down the edges of the two Designer Series Paper pieces so they can place on the cardbase together.

 
I was so happy with the way this card turned out that I created a series of them with different fruits and backgrounds…….but using a similar layout and design (look out for those as I share them on my blog and FB page later!)
