It has been raining non-stop here for the last 24 hrs and even though my eldest went off to school today for her first day in Primary school (where did those years go!!) I still had the others at home wondering what to do with them while the water teamed down outside. In the end, I suggested that we all have a “power nap” before the afternoon school run……….and, to my surprise they both took to the idea and snuggled down happily under their doonas! Sometimes it is the simple things that we need to be thankful for like the rain, doonas…………. a snuggle during a thunderstorm.
Here is a card I created today using my Friendship Blooms set. For the flowers, I’ve used Rose Red and Gable Green markers, Whisper White for the swirl, and Rose red again for the greeting. Cardstock is Rose Red, Gable Green and Whisper White. I’ve used my Stampin’ Up! paper crimper to create the corrigated cardboard and tied some Sweet Shop Ribbon around that. The flowers are fixed on the card with Stampin’ dimensionals.
I really like this colour combo……I think I might see what else I can come up with using the same ingredients…………..
Those of you who were waiting patiently for a step by step tutorial on how to create brackets with your Round Tab punch, here is a link to my up line, Angela Sargeant’ s blog.
