With Father’s Day just around the corner I thought I would share a project with you that could be used as either a card or a mini album. I cased this idea from our Regional Training day for demonstrators last year and adapted it to suit a more masculine theme by changing the colours and the stamp sets used.
Here’s what the full length of the card looks like (I’ve used strip of 12×12 cardstock that has been cut into 4 equal strips) :
Pretty cute hey?
If you would like to make this for a special person you’ll need the following supplies:
Stamp sets : Wanted, expressive Flexible Phrases, Occasional Greetings.
Ink : Chocolate chip, Close to Cocoa, Pumpkin Pie, Versa Mark
Cardstock : Apricot Appeal, Pumpkin Pie and Confetti White
Accessories : 1 and 3/8 inch Circle Punch, 1 Inch Circle, 3/4 Inch Circle Punch, 1/2 Inch Circle Punch, Small Star Punch, 1/8 Inch Circle Punch, Pumpkin Pie Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Pumpkin Pie 1/4 Inch Grosgrain Ribbon, Stapler, Large Copper Metal Edged Tag.
Technique : Smudge around the front “page” of your booklet using direct to paper technique. Just open up you Chocolate Chip Classic Ink Pad, hold the finger grips and swipe around to get the desired effect. This simple technique gives a grungy, more “masculine” feel to any project.
This will be my last post before I head off tomorrow for the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Palm Cove! I will try and update at least once while I’m away and give you all a full rundown of what we got up to when I return. So stay tuned………..:-)
