Here is a sample of one of the things I make for my hostesses………a Bag-a-Lope! if you haven’t seen one of these before , they are very easy to make at home and a quick way to wrap up a small gift like some chocolates or jewelery.
I have used a Stampin’ Up! envelope to make this cute little pouch and decorated it with the So Swirly Jumbo Wheel (Which you receive FREE this month when you order the matching set “Priceless”!) in Ballet Blue (I used a cartridge so that I didn’t have to keep inking up on a stamp pad). The greeting is a stamp from the set called Simply Said.
To colour the White Grossgrain Ribbon, I ran along the raised outer edges with my Ballet Blue Marker to make it tie in with the colour scheme (how cool is that!) and for the scallops I took out my Corner Rounder Punch and punched along the edge to get the semi circles (something I will never have to do again after we get the new Scallop Edge Punch………I think my corner rounder will thank me lol!). The versatile thing about the new SU! punch is that we can leave the scallops plain or we can add a bit more detail with the small circles of a hand held punch if we choose to………. yep, I’m a girl who likes to keep her options open!
If you would like a pattern for the Bag-a-lope or you have any questions about this project, leave a comment for this post and I will be happy to send you the information!
Don’t forget that you have until the end of September to get hold of a selection of Jumbo wheels for FREE (see my previous post about this month’s special for details!)
My Special offer to blog readers this month :
Email me with your order, including a Free Wheelin’ promotion item, and I’ll include a Jumbo handle/or Inked Cartridge with your order at no extra charge!! (Australian residents only)
