2 Promotions and a Sneak Peek

The card above was created with one of the new stampsets,  Eastern Blooms, from the soon-to-be-released Summer Mini Catalogue (I can’t show you the cover yet but email me today to pre-order your copy and I’ll mail it to you on the 1st Dec!)
I used a “Cherished memories” Rub- On for the greeting and I rubbed it directly on to the Purely Pomegranate Satin Ribbon (I’m going to miss this ribbon when it disappears with the current Mini Catalogue November 30th *sigh*) with the pointy end of my bone folder – I just wanted to use the word “wish” instead of the whole greeting which said “Peaceful Wishes” as this was  a birthday card for my niece, Naia (happy birthday Naia!)

This card is a CASE of  a creation by the lovely Yvonne Campbell.
I ‘ve used the “thumping” technique to  create the different colours in the leaves with the brush end of the marker by tapping it like a drum stick onto the rubber before “huffing” (breathing over the stamp to re-moisten) and stamping onto the card stock.
