Buttons, Bibs and Bobs

Just popping in again with a few things to share!
Firstly I wanted to let you all know that we raised $1169.92 for the Redcross Victorian Bushfire Appeal over the last two weeks (and that’s not including the money that Stampin’ Up! will be donating from the sale of the Appeal sets)!!
So, I want to say a BIG “thank you” to all my blog readers, hostesses, workshop customers and stamp club members for getting behind and supporting this fundraiser and making it possible. I’m so thankful that we could share some creative time together as well as raise this money to go where it is needed the most.
The tags above were attached to some Door Prizes (you may have been the lucky recipient of one yourself!) I’ve been giving away at workshops recently. They were super quick to make, using some scraps of Double Sided Paper (“Ginger Blossom” from the current soon to finish, Mini Catalogue), River Rock Textured Cardstock (on the retiring list to make way for the 6 gorgeous new IN Colours in the new Idea Book), and Earth Elements Buttons (yes, these are retiring too!).
To create the tags, I simply punched the flowers out and used the opposite patterns together, layering the flowers and buttons onto the River Rock card stock with Mini Glue Dots, then stamped the For You stamp on the top. The tags themselves are punched out with the Large Tag Punch. Too easy!
I can’t show you anything yet, but, I’ve now had a sneak peek at some new catalogue goodies and I wanted to let you know a few things that may be of interest to you:
1. The In Colours are gorgeous!!
2. There some fabulous new hostess bundles that include items like papers and even rub-ons – great for all you scrappers 😉
3. In keeping with the current economic climate, there will a price increase with several items  in the Catalogue. These items include the  Classic Ink Pads which will increase to $11.95 (that’s still a great price for an ink pad of that size and versatility!) and Double Sided Papers will increase to $19.50.
So, if there are some ink pads on your wishlist ………order them now and save yourself some cash.
The double sided papers are an excellent price in the current at $11.95 (this was actually a misprint, honoured by Stampin’ Up! for this year…….they were $16.95 in the previous catalogue) so now is the time to stock up on those as well!
