A bit belated I know! I hope that this year has begun well for you and that your dreams and goals for 2013 are firmly in your sights 🙂
I love the start of a new year…….it always feels like a blank canvas ready to be painted on. As I look back on my blog posts over the past year, I wonder what creations will emerge in 2013, what new techniques and styles we will experiment with, who and what we will be inspired by ……the possibilities are endless 🙂
The card above was my swap for the recent Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Broome. For my swap this year, I moved away from my usual Vintage style to create something a little more bright, modern and crisp (although I couldn’t resist roughing up the embossed Chevron pattern in the background a little with a sanding block lol).
Here’s what I used to create my cards :
Stamps – From My Heart woodmount stampset ($69.95), Papillon Potpourri woodmount stampset ($32.95)
Ink – Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink
Paper – Rich Razzleberry, Summer Starfruit and Naturals White cardstock, International Bazaar Designer Series Paper
Accessories – Elegant Butterfly Punch, Ribbon Slides (Holiday Catalogue), Rich Razzleberry Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, Paper Piercing Tool, Stampin’ Pierce Mat, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Chevron Embossing Folder, Designer Sanding Block, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Big Shot
