The Dragonfly Dreams Bundle can be used in so many different ways both on cards as well as 3D projects, such as boxes and gift wrapping. The card above was one of this month’s Stamp A Stack cards and super simple to create. The paper is from the 12×12 Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper pack – FREE with any $90 order during Sale-A-Bration. To create the sunset effect I used the new Sponge Brayers with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red Classic Ink (look out for my Youtube video on how to use the new Sponge Brayer).
Hint : If the Designer Series Paper has an obvious gap in it ….. you can stamp another Dragonfly (or bumblebee!) in Stazon to fill it 🙂 – this stampset coordinates beautifully with the papers 🙂
The Dragonflies have a touch of Copper embossing on them created with a Sponge Dauber inked with VersaMark before adding the powder just in the middle of each one.
A fairly simple design…..but I think the embossing really makes it POP!
Next project – a cute gift-box created with the new Window Box Dies, decorated with a double dragonfly on the top. When you see Dragonflies in real life they often have a shiny, irredecent quality as they move about…..I think that the Silver Sequins help to give that impression!
