A Card is Hug….without all that awkward body contact

If you, like me, have been practising social distancing during this crazy time we are navigating our way through right now……then it’s nice to know that we can still show care and thoughfulness to those around us.

Some ways in which we can safely distance and and care for others are :

Offering to do someone’s shopping if they are self-isolating or apprehensive about going out

Dropping in a care package to someone who is in the high risk category

Staying home unless its absolutely necessary to go out

Sending a card is the perfect way to say….I’m thinking of you…..I am here to support and help

By offering both practical help and emotional support to each other and in particular toward the most vulnerable in our midst, we will get through this.

I have created the card above using yet another colouring technique on the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. Using a Sponge Dauber with your choice of Ink Pad…..you can swirl the ink on and create whatever coloured flowers you choose.
