Poinsettia Place Suite
I just love the elegant beauty of the images in the Poinsettia Place Suite from Stampin’ Up! plus the Designer Series and Specialty Papers are divine! As with most items in the Holiday Mini Catalogue, you need to see them in real life to fully appreciate their beauty. The Poinsettia Dies allow you to create a soft, tone on tone effect when you layer them together to create the flowers. Many of the Dies also give an embossed effect to the cardstock as well as cutting an intricate shape eg the veins in the leaves and petals
Poinsettia Petals Bundle
For the Christmas cards I’m sharing in this post, I’ve used the Stampset and Die Bundle with bothe the Designer Series Paper with the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper(flocked designs on white vellum) layered on top.
I finished off my card with a single trio of white pearls from the Beaded Pearl embellishments (use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere this to your project).
It is truly a joy to create with products that coordinate and work together so well!
I had so much fun making one of these that I ended up cutting enough Poinsettias to make 10! I can well and truly say that I have made a great start on this year’s Christmas cards……
