For this card I’ve used the spotlighting technique! This technique allows you to “spotlight” just one section of the True Love Designer Series Paper……it also saves you from having to colour in the entire piece of paper…….so it becomes a much quicker card to make!
I’ve chosen a smaller, daisy pattern for my card above ……so that there’s lots of details in the circular section that I’ve spotlighted.
HINT : Punch out the section of the DSP to be coloured with the smallest Circle Punch first, then adhere it to the larger Basic Black Circle with Black Dimensionals before adhereing it to the card.
I decided to colour my daisies in Balmy Blue……they remind me a lot of the Marguerite Daisies that my Nanna used to have in her garden. The gingham ribbon seemed to be the perfect accompaniment …..representing the sunshine that made her flowers grow so beautifully out the front of her house.
