I opened my pack of this gorgeous paper only a week or so ago and started to play. Problem was, I couldn’t decided on which design or which side of the DSP to use for my project, so I ended up choosing all of of them and came up with this mosaic card design.
To start, I simply punch out several hexagons with my Heartfelt Hexagon punch and adhered these to my Basic Beige card piece using a small amount of Tombow Multipurpose Adhesive before running it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine using the new Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder. I then ran over the entire card embossed piece using a Blending Brush and Basic Beige Ink.
HINT : the Basic Beige Classic Ink is VERY subtle and just brings out a shadow across the embossing to accentuate it a little more.
This card has minimal stamping on it, I simply stamped the greeting and frame using the Heartfelt Hexagon Photopolymer Stampset before punching it out with the coordinating punch and adhereing it to the cardfront.
The flower embellishments were cut out of the DSP using Paper Snips.
