If you haven’t purchased a pack of these gorgeous specialty papers yet…..then make sure you order some from me before the mini catalogue runs out on November 30th!!!!
Parisian Breeze papers are card-stock weight papers with a beautiful textured surface….perfectly suited to the Shabby Chic style. The papers are double-sided with the option of using the stripes for a masculine card or the beautiful Toile pattern for a more feminine look.
I used the papers as a basis for my design and colour choice, but, with this card, it’s all about the accessories and techniques!
Here’s a list of what I’ve used to create my card, all items available from Stampin’ Up! through me:
Stamps : Weathered Background, Frames with a Flourish (set of 7), Life Definitions (set of 28)
Ink : Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze Classic Inkpads, Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Write marker
Accessories : Corner Rounder punch, Eyelet Border Punch, Paper Piercer and template from the Crafter’s toolkit, 1/2 inch circle punch, Build-a-Brad, Flower Fusion Too, Colour Spritzer Tool, Chocolate 5/8″ Grosgrain, Jumbo Brads (Spring Mini catalogue, available in Chocolate Chip/Whisper White/Very Vanilla/ Silver), Sponge Daubers, Sanding Blocks, Paper Snips.
Hints :
* When inking up a stamp in two colours using an In-Colour, ink up entire stamp in lighter colour eg Baja Breeze and isolate one part with a darker coloured marker eg. Chocolate Chip
* Use Stampin Up’s sandig blocks to distress cardstock edges and coloured brads to give them an “old” look
* Get more out of your Stampin Up! punches by using them in different ways.

What do you think of my card?
If you have any questions about the techniques and products that I have used please leave a comment, I’d love to hear from you 🙂
