It’s World Water-Colour Month!

July is World Watercolor Month, and Stampin’ Up! have lots of watercolouring products to celebrate : pencils, paper, stamps and more. Watercolour adds that WOW factor to even the simplest projects, making it ideal for all crafters.

In the projects below, I have used the Water Colour Pencils Assortments 1 and 2 to colour in the Hippos before blending in the colour with a Water Painter.

These Hippos really are the cutest and so much fun to colour in! You really notice all the details in the stamps when you start to add the colour medium to the outline. Here I’ve also Heat Embossed the Hippo image in Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder so the colour doesn’t “bleed” from one section to another.
