1 Stamp, 3 Techniques

When I saw the Thanking You stampset I knew I had to have it in my collection as there were so many techniques that came to mind for how to create with it! I also always need lots of Thank You cards šŸ˜‰

To create the card above, I have used what I like to call the Rainbow Technique. You’ll need Sponge Daubers and a couple of Classic Ink Colours and bold stamp like this one to create this look. Click on the image below to see my Insta Reel showing how I created this card :

Next I turned to some embossing techniques. I had a couple sheets of the Floral and Gingham Vellum in my stash and realised that the only way to stamp a greeting on them was to emboss in white, gold, black, silver or copper. I chose to use the new Gold WOW Embossing Powder. l also fussy cut some of the flowers from the coordinating Floral Delight Designer Series Paper. I love how everything in the Floral Delight Suite matches and coordinates, making creating projects a breeze. You can see the results above. HINT : Place your Glue Dots strategically behind flowers and the embossed greeting to hide them for view – your vellum should look like it’s floating!

For my last technique with the Thanking You stampset, I employed one of my favourite techniques : Emerging Colour. For this technique, you will need to grab some of your favourite Designer Series Paper, some CLEAR WOW Embossing Powder, your Heat Tool and Brayer. This technique takes a bit of experimenting but its a lot of fun. Stamp your bold image/greeting onto the DSP with Versamark and apply the Clear WOW Embossing Powder over the top before melting it with your Heat Tool. Next Brayer over the top with a medium coloured /dark Classic Ink so that the embossing resists the colour and you can still see the pattern of the DSP. Layer this on top of some coordinating DSP and adhere to your card front.

For the cards below, I’ve used the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper and the Perennial Lavender DSP :
