Patio Party

Just a quick card to share with you today 🙂
I’m loving the new Make a Cake Stampset…….one of the freebies we received as part of a bundle from Stampin’ Up! before the new catalogue was released.As a demonstrator, you have the chance to get a lot of new products before anyone else and some of them for free!

Here’s what I’ve used to create my card – all available through me from the brand new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue 🙂
Stamps : Make a Cake, Itty Bitty Banners
Ink : Basic Black, Midnight Muse Classic Ink Pads, Raspberry Ripple and Midnight Muse Stampin’ Write Markers
Paper : Summer Starfruit, Whisper White, Midnight Muse cardstock, Patio Party Designer Series Paper
Accessories : Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Big Shot, Bitty Banners Framelits, Mini Brads, Paper Snips, Snail Adhesive, Dimensionals.
The technique I’ve used on my card is called “Paper Piecing”. I’ve stamped the cake images in Basic Black onto different patterns in the Patio Party Designer Series Paper before cutting them with my Paper Snips and adhereing them onto the base image stamped in Basic Black on Whisper White.
