I had a think about it the other day and came to the conclusion that the Fancy Favour Box is possibly my most used Big Shot die. Being a Demonstrator means that I get to have a lot of fun sharing my love of stamping around the kitchen table with my hostesses and their friends at parties and classes too and I love being able to create a quick and easy “thank you” to say how much I appreciate their hospitality 🙂
The above box was created using the die mentioned above, the banner is made with the Hearts Flutter Bundle from the Seasonal Catalogue (just click on the picture to the right to view the catalogue). You’ll also spy one of those cute Soda Pop Tops with an image from the Itty Bitties stampset in the middle.
The second box below has more of a Vintage feel. I cut the box out of Primrose Petals coordinations cardstock and sanded it on the textured side to get a lovely “shabby chic” look :
The decorations on the box come from the Artisan Embellishments, More Amore Specialty Paper and Hearts A Flutter Bundle again. I curled the stem of the Pink Flower by winding it around the end of my Piercing Tool. I also sprayed the Primrose Petals Seam Binding with Isocol before crushing it with my fingers to give it a more Vintage feel. (HINT : Isocol dries very quickly so no waiting for soggy ribbon to dry) The Crumb Cake die-cut heart card is also from the Artisan Embellishments kit – don’t throw these away when you have used up the ribbon and lace wound around it 😉
Here’s a run down of what I’ve used on my hostesses’ boxes :
Stamps – Hearts A Flutter, Itty Bitties, That’s The Ticket and Teeny Tiny Sentiments stampsets
Ink – Cherry Cobbler, Primrose Petals, Basic Black, Whisper White inkpads
