Last week I demonstrated some “traditional” scrapbooking at a workshop using the gorgeous new Bloomin’ Love bundle and matching Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper. It was a chance to show how to get lots of texture on a page without the heaviness and bulk that comes with using lots of embellishments and 3D layers (which is great when you are adding lots of pages to a scrapbook!)
The 2 main techniques I’ve used are collage stamping and die-cutting plus I’ve added a bit of bling using Wink of Stella. The Clear W.O.S creates a pearly sheen without overdoing the sparkle……..LOVE it!
It’s so much fun creating your own background with beautiful stamp images…..it also means that you can completely customise the colours to suit your photos.
