Ghosting Technique

Another Christmas themed card for you today! Did you know that you can create a cool background with Versamark on Stampin’ Up!’s new Glossy Cardstock? How cool is the effect…..and it’s super-simple too 🙂

HINT : Simply stamp an image in Versamark and then use a Sponge Brayer over the top in your desired colour. I have created an Ombre effect in my background by concentrating the colour at the top of the card and graduating it to lighter at the bottom :

This card is a mix of old and new products plus a favourite technique that I used to play with back when we had Glossy Cardstock in the Stampin’ Up! catalogue previously called “Ghosting”. I know that many of you have already fallen in love with this stampset at recent classes…..it’s called Every Good Wish, and you’ll find it on page 8 of the new Holiday Catalogue!
