I thought I would post some last minute samples of the gorgeous Sale-A-Bration sets. Sale-A-Bration ends tonight.
I think Polkadot Punches was a firm favourite with both myself and my customers this year.
The card above uses the Poppin’ Pastels technique. I’ve stamped the images on Whisper White with Versa Mark and used a sponge Dauber to apply Stampin’ Pastels over the top.
Here’s a little tag we made at some workshops last week using the same set:
For the background flowers I’ve used the Emboss Resist technique (clear embossing over Regal rose cardstock) and my Brayer to ink up the cardstock afterwards. I love this effect!
Finally a CASED card from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue itself:
You’ll see a card very similar to this on page three of the brochure………a very simple and elegant card, and I particularly like the white embossing on the dark coloured card stock…..it’s a really nice effect.
Leave a comment for this post before Saturday 7th March to tell us what your favourite SAB set was this year, and why and I’ll send you a sample using your set!

I’ve been lucky enough to get all the Sale-a-bration stampsets this year. I would have to say that Botanical Blooms was my favourite. I love how you can double stamp and produce such a special, eyecatching effect so simply. I also liked Polka Dot Punches, but have to admit that I’ve yet to use them effectively. I liked the effect of the two that you’ve posted on your Blog. Any other ideas? Thanks for always being a wonderful source of good ideas! 🙂
I love Botanical Blooms too – but wish I knew what I can do with Polka Dot Punches! Maybe I need to buy some Versamark and use as a background?
Polka Dot Punches works well with the co-ordinating Scallop circle and 5-Petal flower Punches as well as the various circle punches.
Try it with the emboss resist technique too it’s lots of fun!
