This blog hop is inspired by the AMAZING Pillow Gifts we received as Demonstrators on the Hawaii Incentive Trip! I pinch myself every day to be able to wake up and work at a job I love……and it’s made all the more sweet being rewarded for following my passion with a free trip for two every year!
 
Now, being “forced” to take an all-expenses paid holiday every year is a gift in and of itself……but Stampin’ Up! are known for going above and beyond in showing their appreciation for us and……. and  to top it off, we get pampered with Pillow Gifts every day also!
Here is the inspiration for my blog hop post (one of my favourite gifts of the trip!) – a gorgeous burlap beach tote…..

 
Don’t you just love the quote on this tag? Each day we received a different one and I have kept them all to add to my quote collection…….

And so…..on to my project! I’ve taken my ideas from the texture of the bag and the colours in the tag and used all new Stampin’ Up! products to create my very simple, one layer card. The background stamp in this set it so much fun……and the cross-hatch pattern really picks up the texture of the burlap in the bag don’t you think….

Accessories : Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim, Hand-held Stapler, Blender Pen

TECHNIQUE TIP : To make the Mint Macaron flower stand out against the Tip Top Taupe background I coloured in the petals with a Blender Pen using Whisper White Ink.

This card was so quick and easy to create, I made some more cards in different colours using the new In Colors Watermelon Wonder, and Delightful Dijon……with scraps of the coordinating In Color Dotted Lace Trim………
