Bling!

DSC05019_sml.JPG
At Stamp Clubs last month we had some fun with bling. Learning how to apply Chunky Sprinkles, Fine Supernova and Dazzling Diamonds to our projects was heaps of fun……and, yes, we had glitter everywhere by the end of the night!
The card above was created by the very talented Bec (a Valentines for her hubby….awwww).
Sweet Treats cups are fabulous for creating quick and easy shaker cards. Here is Jodies gorgeous creation :

Amazing how you can come up with something different with the same ingredients isn’t it?
Stamp Club meets for a free class (for club members) and we learn new techniques on how to use the products we add to our stash each month as well as getting to know each other 🙂
The card below was created by the lovely Allison, using Stampin’ Up! Sticky Cuts for the flowers. The Super Nova glitter on bird’s wings was adhered by drawing adhesive on with a 2-Way Glue Pen ……..

And here’s another one by Helen :)…….

Can you see the glitter behind the butterfly wings? You can create this effect with any punch by first punching the shape out of the cardstock and applying packing tape to the back so that the sticky side is exposed.  Simply pour the glitter over the tape and press down with your finger, tap off the excess and you’ll have a lovely glittery image!  – thanks to Inky Fingers team member Brigette Lomax for sharing this cool technique 😉

  1. My “fish tank” card from the cups class leaked and ruined itself… Don’t know why?? I must have done something wrong 😛 Oh well, my others are all still pretty 🙂

  2. Oh no Sarah! How embarrassing!
Actually mine did that too….but that was only after I accidently sat on it! lol
Yes they are a bit more delicate than the other Sweet Treats cards…..but definitely worth a try as they do look awesome :)…….the ones that the kids made before Christmas are still going strong….but admittedly they have been sitting on a shelf since we made them!

  3. Funny Vanessa,
I have CASEd your butterfly card as a bookmark with DSP and it leaves glittery fine sprinkles in every book!!! Atleast when I use it in a book, everyone will know what page I got up to.
