Patchworking Possibilities

Instead of a paper-craft project I wanted to share some needlework with you today!
As you may already know, the Big Shot machine cuts through more than just paper and cardstock and so can be used in a variety of different creative settings – including needlework and patchwork.
The quilt above was created by one of my very talented customers, Pamela, who runs her own patchwork business from home. Isn’t it just gorgeous!?
Although I played no part in the sewing together of this beautiful work of art, I did cut out the Leaves and Top Notes that have been appliqued on with my Big Shot machine and dies. Depending on your fabric, you can cut several layers of material at a time and have a selection of cut outs and wadding ready to apply to any patchwork front,  3D item or card. Any of the Bigz, Originals or Bigz XL dies in the current Mini catalogue will cut through fabric and a variety of other materials you would normally need your Craft and Rubber Scissors for.
