Fabric Creations

I’ve been doing a bit of creating with fabric recently so I thought I would share some of the results with you :).
Not being a sewer, I came up with some different ways to use our beautiful Stampin’ Up! fabric in my card-making as well as in 3D gift items. I bought some head-bands from the local $2 shop and used strips of fabric to wind around the band before using my Big Shot and Blossom Party Die (did you know our dies can cut through up to 7 layers of poplin cotton in one go?) to create a coordinating flower embellishment. What a cute idea for a kids craft project or low-cost, personalised gift! The headband and matching card above use the Twitterpated Designer Fabric from the Autumn/Winter Mini catalogue (love this !) and the one below uses Flirtatious :

I made my matching gift tags using the Framelits Dies (cutting the card-stock on the fold to get the card shape) and they are stamped with the limited time stampset – Reason to Smile.

Ink : Cherry Cobbler, Tempting Turquoise and Basic Black Classic ink pads.
