This Week's Deals and Life in the Forest

 
Life in the Forest is one of the super-cute must have stamp sets…..especially if you love to water colour. The images are nice and clean and simple and really fun to colour. I made up a couple of these cards to send to my team to congratulate them on their amazing achievements with their Stampin’ Up! Business this past couple of months. The background is sponged (I saw this technique on a card somewhere using the same stampset) and the foreground is stamped water-coloured and mounted on Dimensionals to give them a 3D look. Pretty simple really…..but I am pleased with the way they turned out. I hope that the recipients enjoyed receiving them too 🙂
