Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop – New Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek

For our Mediterranean Cruise with Stampin’ Up! this year, one of the swap items has a 3 D requirement. I’d been given one of these as a swap by a member of my Inky Fingers Stampin’ Team, so I thought I’d change it up a bit and use some of the new catalogue products for our Blog Hop this month too 😉 – gotta love Multi-tasking!

These little bags are so cute and fun to make……you’ll want to make one for everyone on your gift list (perfect for those small tokens and gifts involving bling where you might need some smaller packaging!)

Here’s what you’ll need to create your Mini Handbag :

• Paper – Love and Affection Specialty Designer Series Paper cut to 6″x2″, coordinating cardstock
• Accessories – Scallop Tag Punch, 3/4″ Circle Punch, 1/2″ Circle Punch, Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Stampin’ Trimmer with cutting and scoring blades

STEP 1 : Punch out one end of the 6″x2″ paper

STEP 2 : Score from raw/straight edge at 1 &1/2″, 2 &3/4″, 4 &1/2″ and then 4 &3/4″

STEP 3 : Cut small 1/4″  strip for handle from another piece, adhere to underside of flap with Glue Dots

STEP 4 : Decorate with coordinating Designer Washi Tape

STEP 5 : Cut 1/2″ Circle from Copper Foil piece of Specialty Designer Paper, and 3/4″ Circle from coordinating cardstock, adhere to bag with glue dot and slip end of flap behind to secure

STEP 6 : Place gift inside and secure with Glue Dots
