Perched In A Tree For Christmas!

I was creating some backgrounds with the Fragrant Forest stamp and thinking about what to use in the foreground. I hadn’t played with Perched in a Tree and the coordinating Aspen Tree Dies for a while, so I decided to add them to the mix.

These cards have a vintage feel with lots of texture and added details to bring the bird image to life………..

I enjoyed using the Aspen Tree Dies in different ways and with different sized card bases to achieve different background effects………

Depending on what you put behind the tree die, it’s possible to completely change the look of a card…….

HINT : I’ve scrunched the Poppy Parade birdie and flattened it before flicking some Wink of Stella over the top for some extra shimmer, the Boho Blue Birdie is also scrunched after stamping in Basic Grey and also with the speckled infill in Poppy Parade.

HINT #2 : Adding Early Espresso Classic Ink to the birch tree die before running it through with the Pecan Pie Cardstock.
