Bushfire Appeal

There would not be a single person in our nation who has not been affected in some way by the tragedy of Black Saturday and the events that have unfolded this week.  Like many of you, I have been searching for ways to get practical and financial aid to those who have lost homes, possessions, livelihoods and,  more tragically, loved ones. A disaster of such magnitude is hard to comprehend fully watching the images on a TV screen. Our thoughts and prayers are with the survivors, fire fighters, medical personel and volunteers as they begin the long task of recovery and rebuilding these communities.
In response to the bushfire tragedy Stampin’ Up! has launched a special appeal. You can help by purchasing selected stamp sets  from 12th February through March 31st 2009 and Stampin’ Up! will donate 50 percent  of the sales of these sets to the Australian Red Cross Victorian Bushfires 2009 Appeal.

I have been very blessed by my Stampin’ Up! business and feel privileged to be associated with such a generous company, so I want to do something more to help raise my target amount of $1000.
