Card making class this Thursday…….

I have had some spots open up for this Thursday’s card-making class.
All the details can be found here.
Please email me at stampin@vanessawebb.net or phone 4271 8121 to reserve one for yourself and a friend.
I had the loveliest long weekend catching up with my dear friend Linda! We ate yummy food, watched some movies (well, one in particular)  and as she is also a demonstrator,  some time for stamping was definitely on the agenda 😉
I wanted to share with you some cards that were exchanged this long weekend. We were celebrating 3 or more birthdays, so that in itself was a great excuse to give and receive some cards (not that you really need one lol!)

The two in the forground were made by Linda…….aren’t they just gorgeous! The one one the left was for my husband’s birthday….. the large oak from Lovely as Tree  is stamped in Basic Grey and the crimped cardstock and eyelets turn this into a great all occasions masculine card.
The Photo Corner punch is great for grounding a card or framing the focal point as well as in Scrapbooking for your photos. I love how Linda has used the Kiwi Kiss satin ribbon, Filigree Designer Brad, and Urban Oasis papers together on this card.
The card behind was made by me at a class taught by one of my very talented team members, Leonie. It is based on a card create by Michelle Zindorf and it was lots of fun to make. It was perfect to use for my hubby’s birthday card.
The corners of the stamped image were cut with the Cuttlebug and the circles on the card at the bottom right hand side were made with a Coluzzle.
What is your favourite stampset to use for a masculine card?

  1. I love what Linda has done with Lovely as a tree. Trendy trees has to be the next best male card stampset … for me and parts of circle circus.

  2. I think Basic Grey is the next ink pad on my to buy list! And I love those Hostess Papers! – Can’t wait for my turn next Stamp Club!
