Wow, it’s been ages since I posted ! My apologies for not getting on here recently and also for the length of this post.
On the 28th of last month we moved house and I have just returned from the Annual Stampin’ Up! Convention which was held in Melbourne. So, I am feeling very tired but extremely thankful for the provision of our new home and very happy to have spent some time with some special people that I know through my awesome job as a Demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! – even if it did all happen over the space of just a fortnight!
Convention this year was amazing……Stampin’ Up! are truly a wonderful company with their heart in the right place when it comes to putting people first, dedicated to staying ahead of current stamping and papercraft trends, and totally commited to manufacturing and offering the BEST products in the industry with a generous career plan that gives us so much recognition for doing something that we love. Being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is my dream job, and, 5 years since I first received my Starter Kit, I can say that will be doing this for a very long time to come! I was thrilled to once again receive the Demonstrator of the Year Award coming in at 5th Place for Australia once again and totally shocked to find out that I had come FIRST Place in Sales for Australia. For all this I have my wonderful customers and Stampin’ Up! Team members to thank, as apart from your loyalty and support (not to mention the fact you all love stamping!) none of this would be possible! I just love being your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and team leader and thank you for enriching my life in so many ways 🙂
Now it is “back to reality”, which at the moment for us involves a lot of un-packing of boxes and, of course, continuing to set up my new craft room! I will post some pictures when things are looking a bit more organised :). We have already held Stamp Club there and tomorrow night I am holding my first class in the new space tomorrow night, and our first Inky Fingers Team meeting on Wednesday which is very exciting! So, I guess some of you will get to see the “before” state of my new room. While there are many more things to be set up and yet unpacked, I am really enjoying have the room to be creative and NOT having to pack everything away so the we can eat our dinner every night!
Speaking of classes, I do have some spots left for tomorrow night’s Beveled Window Panes Class (see pictures above for some sneak peeks of what we’ll be making!) at 7.30pm as well as next Wednesday (same time). The details are below…..let me know asap that you’re going to join us and I’ll save a spot for you!
