….ad I head off for Stampin’ Up! National Convention in Canberra! This is my 6th Convention and I think I am more excited than I have ever been about spending 3 days in the company of my fellow demonstrators, Stampin’ Up! staff from Australia, New Zealand and the US. Convention is more like a family reuinion than a business conference and I always come home with my head swimming with ideas and inspiration that I can’t wait to share 🙂
The card above is actually one of my swap cards. I have made several of these to swap with other demonstrators at Convention. Swapping happens all throughout the conference and the purpose is to collect as many different swap cards as you can to can to use as samples and inspiration for our own projects and to gather some new ideas to share with you also!
The card above uses several fun techniques with punches, embossing folders and dies as well as the Mocca Morning Specialty Paper.
I will be showing you how to create the Faux Ostrich Feathers effect in some up-coming classes as well as how to use ink with your embossing folders 🙂 – stay tuned for more details!
Here is a list of what I’ve used to create my card – all items available from Stampin’ Up! through me 🙂 :
Stamps – Loving Thoughts Clear Mount Stamp set 44.95
