Thursday Stamp Club Spot Available!

Just popping in to let you know about my next round of Stamp Clubs starting in July 🙂
As always, the clubs have filled up quickly and my two Monday clubs are now full and so, to have a spot available is a rare opportunity!
Classes are FREE for Club members, held monthly at my home in Wollongong. In the classes we focus on a different stamping technique or project each time and make something that I wouldn’t normally show at a workshop. There is no cost to attend the class, but each month members of the club commit to buying a minimum of $50 worth of Stampin’ Up! goodies (before shipping).
BUT……here’s the best bit……..each club member will get their turn at being the “hostess”. This means that even though the classes are at my place, once during the 6 months you will get to be the hostess and receive the hostess benefits – at least $50 worth of Stampin’ Up! products for FREE plus additional cash to spend, depending on the sales for the night!
Our Thursday club kicks off  at 7.30pm on the 26th July and will be on once a month on a Thursday evening after that. If you would like to join us for this round, please email me and I’ll send you an application form with the remaining dates so that you can reserve your spot.
Now to my card (pictured above)…………
This card was one of my samples for my demonstration at Convention a couple of weeks ago before I give you the receipe, I have to share with you a little victory story…….
For a long while, after a bad experience during my stint of  high-school teaching,  I developed a fear of speaking in public (I didn’t even give a speech at my wedding 15 years ago because of my fear!).
Yet………a month ago, I was able to present my passion for creating with stamps, ink and paper, for 25 minutes (twice!) in front of around 500 of my very talented and very supportive industry piers at our Annual Convention in Canberra!
My last 6 years as a Demonstrator with Stampin’ up! have not only been financially and professionally rewarding, but personally as well. I can look back and see how I have grown in self-confidence as well as in my ability to set goals and achieve them. I have so much to be thankful for on this journey 🙂
Anyway I digress!
The card above was created using the soon to be finished Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue.
Here’s what I have used to put it together (all Mini Catalogue items available from Stampin’ Up! through me until July 31!)-
Stamps : Rue De Fleurs Clear Mount stampset
Ink : Soft Suede and Poppy Parade Classic Inkpads
Paper : Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper, Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Whisper White cardstock
Accessories : Framelits Dies, Frost White Shimmer Paint, Sponge Daubers, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Baja Breeze Pleated Satin Ribbon, Linen Thread, Big Shot, Paper Trimmer.
HINT : You can change the shape of the Framelits cut outs by trimming off the points top and bottom. This also helps it to fit inside the embossed image on the  card-base.
