And who said romance was dead?

I have loved playing with the Bordering on Romance stamp set from the Autumn/ Winter Mini. It is a really versatile little set to have in your collection. There are so many different stamping techniques that I have used it with : bleaching, watercolouring, shimmer paint effects and emboss resist (used in the cards above) just to name a few.
How gorgeous are these little note cards and matching gift box!!!! If you were one of my lovely hostesses this month you may have received a gift similar to this as a thankyou for letting us come and play at your place 😉
To create the gift cards above. I first cut the shape on the fold using the second smallest Framelits Die, cutting the little white card out on the fold.
Then I stamped the spray of flowers in Versamark before pouring Clear Embossing Powder over the top and then embossing the image.
Next I got my Sponge Daubers and sponged colour over the top of the embossing so that the design resisted the ink and came to the foreground.
I then cut out a smaller piece from my Designer Series Paper using the smallest Framelit and adhered it to the inside of each gift card to dress it up a little – still leaving room for the greeting underneath.
I created my matching box using the NEW Simply Scored Diagonal Plate and followed these instructions  – super easy!
Do you have a favourite stampset that you love using with lots of different stamping techniques? If not – consider adding this set to your collection before it disappears!
I’ll be taking final orders for any of the Mini Catalogue items before 9pm tomorrow evening. If there is anything that you would like to get before this catalogue ends tomorrow…..simply email me and I’ll contact you regarding finalising your order asap.
