Bird’s Eye View Meets Patchwork Pieces

This past week I decided to create with two items in my stash that I hadn’t yet played with : the Bird’s Eye View stampset and the Patchwork Pieces Dies! I had a feeling that they would be great together ……and combined with the geometric patterns from the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper…..I think they work well!

The bird images in this stampset are a little “rough” and the “furry” edges of the outlines lend themselves to some not so perfect colouring with the Stampin’ Blends……so they were super easy and quick to add colour to.

When coming up with the designs of these cards, I enjoyed taking my queue from the DSP and matching/coordinating the Stampin’ Blends to the colours in the patterns.
