The Nests of Winter Suite Collection is a perfectly peaceful collection of card making and paper crafting goods for winter or year-round use!
This card was created using the NEW Leaf Collection Background stamp. We applied the Classic Ink InColors to different sections of the stamp by using Stampin’ Daubers in a dabbing motion. HINT : You’ll want to start off with the palest colour and then apply the next darkest one each time with a separate dauber (specific for that colour) so that you don’t get any cross contamination with your lighter ink colours.

I was creating some backgrounds with the Fragrant Forest stamp and thinking about what to use in the foreground. I hadn’t played with Perched in a Tree and the coordinating Aspen Tree Dies for a while, so I decided to add them to the mix.
The two cards above use the off-cuts from a run through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine…..the idea is to use the surround instead of the die-cut, detailed piece that comes out.
