I’ve been playing with the Perennial Lavender Suite this week and trying out a technique called Faux Water Colour!
I was creating some backgrounds with the Fragrant Forest stamp and thinking about what to use in the foreground. I hadn’t played with Perched in a Tree and the coordinating Aspen Tree Dies for a while, so I decided to add them to the mix.

If you follow me on Instagram, it would be no surprise that I’m a fan of the TV show Grand Designs. Grand Designs UK, Grand Designs Australia, Grand Designs New Zealand – I love them all! If you love architecture, design and stories about people – it is a must watch. I particularly love how the show highlights the connection that people have to land and country and that buildings provide and interface for that.
This past week I decided to create with two items in my stash that I hadn’t yet played with : the Bird’s Eye View stampset and the Patchwork Pieces Dies! I had a feeling that they would be great together ……and combined with the geometric patterns from the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper…..I think they work well!
